# Evidence

Evidence is the material an agent produces to show that a vulnerability is real and exploitable. Each evidence item belongs to a vulnerability and, when available, records the run that produced it.

Evidence can include code, images, text files, logs, and structured data. A vulnerability can have more than one evidence item when showing the issue requires several artifacts.

## Evidence on the Vulnerabilities board

The vulnerability view surfaces the evidence most relevant to the issue. You can use it to understand what the agent observed and why Antigen considers the vulnerability exploitable.

## Evidence in reports

Reports include the evidence relevant when the report was written. This gives the report a point-in-time record of the engagement, even as the live vulnerability later changes through remediation and verification.
