# Vulnerabilities

A vulnerability is a live record of a security weakness confirmed during a run. It includes a severity, a description of the issue, and the evidence that shows it is exploitable.

Each vulnerability moves through open, in progress, remediated, verified, and accepted risk. Its status, assignment, and supporting evidence can change as your team and Antigen's agents work on it.

## Evidence on a vulnerability

Each vulnerability can have multiple [evidence items](/docs/runs/evidence). The vulnerability view surfaces the evidence most relevant to understanding and reproducing the issue.

## Vulnerabilities in reports

A vulnerability remains live after a report is written. The report preserves the vulnerability and evidence that were relevant at that time, while the vulnerability continues through its lifecycle on the board.
