Connect your OpenAI API organization to add its projects, members, and API key metadata to your Asset Map.

What it maps

The map helps your team understand which identities and credentials have access to your OpenAI organization.

Access required

Use an Admin API key created by an organization owner. A project API key does not provide the organization-level access needed for this integration. Admin API keys permit administrative operations. Antigen uses the key to read resource and access metadata without changing your organization. See OpenAI Admin API keys.

Connect OpenAI

1. Create an Admin API key

Sign in to the OpenAI API platform as an organization owner and open Admin keys. Create a key named Antigen and copy its value.

2. Copy your organization ID

Open Organization settings and copy the organization ID. Use the organization where you created the key.

3. Complete the connection

Open Settings → Integrations → OpenAI in Antigen. Enter the Admin API key and organization ID, then select Connect. Antigen reads the organization’s resources and adds them to your Asset Map.

Troubleshooting

The key is rejected

Confirm that you entered an Admin API key and that it has not been revoked. Check that the organization ID matches the key’s organization.

Projects are missing

Check that you connected the intended OpenAI organization. Create a separate connection for each organization you want to map.
