Track human tasks in your team’s issue tracker or management tool. Each task is assigned to the responsible person in the connected tool. It includes the relevant vulnerability, what the agent needs, and instructions for completing the request.

Connect your issue tracker

Open Settings → Integrations and connect your tool. Configure the team, project, repository, or queue where tasks should appear. Human tasks are assigned to the responsible person’s account in the connected tool.

Complete a request

Complete the requested action, add any relevant details, and mark the issue complete. The agent uses your update to continue its work. For example, an agent may ask you to change a cloud firewall rule. Review the recommendation, make the change, and confirm what you changed in the ticket. If the agent still needs something, it follows up through the same task. You can also use comments to ask questions or explain what is blocking the work.

Tasks that complete automatically

When a connected integration can confirm the requested action, the task and its associated issue update automatically. For example, if a task asks you to merge a pull request, the GitHub integration detects the merge and marks the task complete. You do not need to close the associated issue separately.

Follow your team’s approval process

Handle any required approvals through your existing workflow. In ServiceNow, for example, your team can review and approve a change request before making the proposed change. The agent provides the recommendation and supporting context. Your team reviews and carries out the production change.

Track progress on the vulnerability

Completing a task means the requested action is done. Granting access may let an agent begin investigating; deploying a fix may let verification begin. Closing a ticket does not mark the vulnerability as verified. See the vulnerability lifecycle for how agents verify fixes and update vulnerability statuses. You can also receive tasks through Slack or Microsoft Teams to discuss requests while tracking the work in your issue tracker.
